Refund policy

1. How billing works
When you unlock your results you pay $0.99 for a 14-day trial of the MensaIQ membership. If you don’t cancel before those 14 days are up, the trial converts automatically to the monthly plan at $29.99 per month, which then renews each month until you cancel. We state this plainly before you pay, on your account page, and here — we’d rather you know exactly what to expect than be surprised by a charge.
2. Canceling your membership
You can cancel at any time from your account page — it takes two clicks and no explanation. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you’ve already paid for: if you’re in the trial, you keep access until the trial ends; if you’re on the monthly plan, you keep access until the end of the current month. You won’t be charged again after you cancel.
3. Accidental renewals
Life happens — maybe you meant to cancel and the renewal slipped past you. If a monthly renewal goes through that you didn’t intend, contact us within 7 days of the charge and we’ll refund it. We’ll cancel the membership at the same time so it doesn’t happen again. This applies to renewal charges; the initial $0.99 trial fee covers the report you receive immediately and is generally not refundable.
4. How to request a refund
Email support@mensaiq.com from the address on your account and include the approximate date of the charge. No forms, no retention scripts. We aim to respond within two business days, and approved refunds are returned to your original payment method — banks typically post them within 5–10 business days.
5. Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits the rights you have under the consumer-protection law of the place you live. Where local law gives you stronger refund or cooling-off rights than this policy, the law wins and we’ll honor it.
